Locks with the Box

I was cooking breakfast in my usual distracted state, as sweet Christina came up to me and asked a peculiar question.

“Mom, did you say I could go to the box?”

I answered that I didn’t know anything about a box.

“Mom, I can’t say my ah’s yet.”

“What do you mean?”

“Can I go to the BOX?”

“Christina, what box?”

“I can’t say my ah’s yet!”

“But there is no ‘r’ in Box…. OH! You mean the Barkes’ house?”

“Yes! I can’t say my ah’s!”

She and Michael sound very similar, though with Michael it’s the ‘L’ that gets him! Whenever we try to get him to sound it out, he reply’s, “No I can’t say that!” 🙂 I, too, love your new blog. I’ve been thinking about leaving xanga because I can’t sign in quick enough before Michael says, “what’s that?” because of some stupid/gross picture on the main page.

Oh, that is just precious. I love it.
