This sweet child has completely wrapped us around his little finger. His charm is so genuine that one cannot help but be enamoured with him. Well, at least we can’t and haven’t met anyone who has. 🙂 My dad calls him “Mr. Pleasant” for the stolid and serene way he walks about with the tiniest of smiles on his face.
He has his share of frustration and angst as any toddler does, but overall is just a sweet happy kid who is perfectly happy to communicate in mostly grunts for now. He says a few words: Papi, Mami (yes, he says Mommy with a Spanish accent), Mi-um (for Miriam), guck-ie (ducky or turkey), Gnk-gnk (his Danish? doll), and various other words that contain similar sounds.
He stays occupied with coloring, blocks, cars or dolls the majority of the day and plays equally with his baby brother Phineas, his big sister Estella, and by himself.
Happy birthday, my second son. You have truly lived up to your name and been nothing but a blessing to us since you arrived.
