The post you’ve been waiting for

Yesterday, I turned 33.

Guess what my best birthday gift was?

After four years and 9 months,

three new children,

three job losses,

and three “new” vehicles,

We paid off the last credit card!

Woohoo!! Thank you Jesus, and thank you my hard working husband.

I’m still processing how I feel about it, but I expect I’ll have another post soon.

CONGRATULATIONS! it’s such an incredible feeling, no? after being debt free and not having our money sucked into a vacuum at the beginning of a month, it’s a blessing to actually be able to DO things with it! i love listening to dave ramsey’s show on fridays when he has people call in and tell their “get out of debt” stories…what a joyful day 🙂

  10. Christy says:

Did you call in and scream ,”We’re debt free!!”?”

  11. elaine says:

When you call in and scream, give folks a heads up so we can listen 🙂
