Party’s Over and the World is Coming to an End

Yes, the seven day feast has finally come to an end. One lone relative (and her children) remains after today so we might make a trip down again next week sometime, but I am about ready to be done with the mini break. The kids are minus seven days on sleep, regular mealtimes, discipline and parental hugs because they have simply been outside playing with cousins 24/7. At least I didn’t have to go grocery shopping this week. Ha ha. Bules and I also had fun and went to Starbucks or out for a snack just about every day. But, are we ready for a couple days at home. Soren has a horrible runny nose and watery eyes.

And here is why you should be on the lookout for Armageddon. I just was sitting here happily typing and thought, “Hmm, I haven’t seen or heard Jireh for a while.” So I got up and went to see what she was up to. I fully expected a mess of epic proportions that I would have to clean up or a favorite toiletry item I would have to bid a tearful farewell. So imagine my surprise when I found her… sitting at the table, alone, quietly finishing her own bagel.
I could get used to this…

  1. So I got up and went to see what she was up to. I fully expected a mess of epic proportions that I would have to clean up or a favorite toiletry item I would have to bid a tearful farewell. There is obviously some kind of conspiracy in the works; this was just to lower your defenses. Remain vigilant!

  2. i agree with the previous comment.
craig was remarking at the seder (when we looked at pictures of all of you so that we missed you so much we didn’t even need the horseradish to tear) how Jireh and Jadon look alike.

  3. Sarah – taste of our own medicine- we can’t get in touch with you. But this is not a joke. Marie Claire is trying to get in touch with you- they want to talk to you about your “very provacative” article on courtship. NOT KIDDING. They left a message at Mommy’s.   Anna has details. Call her cell.

Just catching up. Funny about your hair falling out..finally…5 years later. I always hate that stage and it seems to last forever. Well, take another test next month and I’m sure it will be pos. We read the Passion at the Tennebrae service on Friday night. After a 3.5 hour Last Words service in the afternoon. It was very good.
