Happy New Year!

It’s 2007!

We had our Christmas celebration today. (Finally.) It was so great! After immediate family gift exchange in the morning (small and simple), we headed to celebrate with Dave’s family. We each got a bottle of wine and a gift certificate for a store we wanted in addition to some stocking stuffers. It was wonderful to hang out with the family. It’s been too long – seems even longer because we had to cancel our plans with them last week when the kids were sick. When we got home, my husband made me some hot tea, which I took up to a lavender bubble bath, leaned on the bath pillow (both from his gift) and read one of the books he got me… Yay…
Nice way to start the year huh?
Well I think we are going to watch Lady in the Water now, gtg.
