Had my midwife appointment this morning. Doesn’t look like anything is happening yet. Once I get my exercise ball cleaned off I think I’ll spend some time bouncing for the next couple of days to see if that helps.

My French friend Camille showed me a song, gave me a sheet of lyrics with words excised (so I had to fill them in) to practice my aural comprehension which is horrible, and I ended up really liking it. I just got a record last night. I find it very hard to understand her (not because she has bad elocution but because I have a horrible time comprehending anything; all I can really do is write), but that’s why I’m doing it… Eventually I’ll get back together with Camille and go over the lyrics with her to translate them so I can practice better, &c. It’s really just a wonderful way to practice. “Dieu réunit ceux qui s’aiment!”

I have the one disc version of that. It has that song on it. Thinking of any of them as funny is impossible as of now, and I have a hard enough time figuring out what she’s saying! Even with the lyrics, I can’t always tell. Textbook French doesn’t teach one much.

haah  you know I was “late” for Nella and the day before I had her I took a long walk at the Mall and when I got home helped clean the yard and then started jumping on a pogo stick.  :op

  7. haha..i remember those ball days…through the day and night, it was my best friend, alongside pelvic tilts 😉  on your recommendation, actually!

  8. Now if I could only figure out how to get more air in it… hmm… it doesn’t quite put me up high enough to the keyboard… lol
