The visit from my parents went very well. I made spaghetti and
meatballs (tried and true or copout?) and they walked in / we sat down to eat about 7:45.
By 9:30 they had to be going because they still needed to make a 2 hour
drive. They are actually leaving town today but we won’t see them again
this trip.

We had a great Lord’s Day as well. Attended the noon service in our
neighborhood (such a wonderful relaxing morning!), came home, changed
and went to have lunch with Dave’s parents, whom we hadn’t seen since
our return. Then we went to the Minkoffs (bet you thought I was going
to say Howards didn’t ya) and Dave disappeared with Michael talking
about philosophy while the rest of us played Win, Lose or Draw. For me,
those games are more about the funny wrong guesses than the actual
answer. We got home before midnight (amazing) and went right to bed.
Today, thanks to a normal bedtime and my wonderful husband who made me
amazing coffee, I actually woke up at a decent hour and feel like I can
jumpstart my day now. Soon as I’m done nursing I’ll straighten up my
room. I have a bit of laundry left to do as well. Who knows, maybe I’ll
get enough done to enter my sewing room today.
Yeah it’s a long shot, but a good goal, I guess.
Haha, yes! There have been a couple of parts/illustrations where I’m like, “What?!” (:
mmmm coffee……….
Have a “fruitful” day! I am glad you got to see your parrents b/f August…
